Since 2008 – present Director of LEPL Alexandre Janelidze Institute of Geology.

Sphere of Research:
Petrology and also questions of mineralogy and geochemistry. For years she has been studying the low-temperature regional metamorphism in the Caucasus, also the Pre-Alpine regional metamorphism and magmatism.

Scientific Activity:

For 16 years (1992 – 2007) conducted intense educational activity at the Department of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry of the Technical University of Georgia,  where conduct a course in petrology and mineralogy.
1995-2006 was the scientific secretary of dissertational council of Geological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Georgia. 
Since 20006 is a member of scientific council of the Georgian National Scientific Foundation; 
Since 2009 is a member of Professional Women’s Association. In 2002 she was awarded the Canadian foundation (BCTC) certificate, under the program: “Market Economy Oriented Training of Research and Development Institution’s Management and Stuff”.
